The No Child Left behind Act (NCLB) of 2001 was signed into law on January 8, 2002 by President Bush. The law states that schools with economically disadvantaged students (Title I schools) that do not make sufficient progress toward state-set progress goals for two consecutive years are identified for improvement, and students attending such schools may obtain supplemental educational services, such as tutoring and other academic assistance, from state approved providers, with costs paid by the school district.

What Subjects are included in your program?
We provide instruction in Language Arts and Mathematics for grades K-12
How will you measure my child's needs and progress?
We will give your child a pre-test to determine strengths and weaknesses in Math and Language Arts. At the conclusion of the program each child is given a post-test. Historically, students who attend our classes on a regular basis show a 36% improvement in Language Arts and a 34% improvement in Math. We provide parents and schools with monthly progress reports.
Where will tutoring be offered?
We offer free tutoring at your child's school. Classes begin immediately after the last
class of the day and last for 60 to 90 minutes.

How many students will be tutored at one time?
Our small groups average 5 students with one teacher.
How much does your program cost?
Our program is free to students determined to be eligible by their school district. Qualifications include eligibility for free or reduced lunch. We provide all books, pencils and other supplies. Additionally, students are rewarded for good attendance.
Can you accommodate students with special needs?
Yes. We will provide bilingual teachers for students not proficient in English. We also use teachers trained and certified in Special Education for classified students.
